 Light Needs

Bright light is essential, with several hours of direct or very strong indirect light each day. Insufficient light can cause thinning and loss of shape.

 Watering

Keep the soil evenly moist, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. Myrtle does not tolerate drying out completely.

 Feeding

Fertilize once or twice a month during spring and summer with an all-purpose houseplant fertilizer. Reduce feeding during fall and winter while growth slows.
