ZZ ‘Raven’ is a cultivated variety of Zamioculcas zamiifolia valued for its bold, dark foliage and strong architectural form. Like the standard ZZ, it stores moisture in thick rhizomes beneath the soil, making it exceptionally tolerant of indoor conditions.  Light Needs

ZZ ‘Raven’ tolerates low to bright, indirect light. Brighter light encourages faster growth, though it performs reliably even in lower-light spaces.

 Watering

Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Like all ZZ varieties, it prefers drier conditions and is very sensitive to overwatering.

 Feeding

Feed once or twice a month during spring and summer with an all-purpose houseplant fertilizer. Reduce feeding during fall and winter as growth slows.
